Barboursville, West Virginia (June 14, 2023) – The US Youth Soccer Eastern Presidents Cup in kicks off in Charleston and Barboursville, West Virginia, seeing twelve New Jersey Youth Soccer member teams vie for a regional Presidents Cup title. New Jersey Youth Soccer teams look to build on the success from last year’s event that crowned six regional champions from the Garden State.
The first round of play will consist of three games in three days at venues in Charleston and Barboursville, West Virginia. The teams with the most points at the conclusion of group play, will advance to the semifinals on June 17th, for a chance to move on to the finals on June 18th. Champions and Finalists in each age group will qualifying for the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup in mid-July.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title. The Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie, and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
