A pair of New Jersey Youth Soccer teams are continuing their quest for a national title in Wichita, Kansas, as Ocean Township United SA Warriors Red (16U Boys) and Deptford SA Premier (17U Boys) have both punched their tickets to the semifinals of the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. Parsippany Soccer Club Academy Blue (13U Boys) also reached the USYS National Presidents Cup but unfortunately saw their tournament run come to an end at the conclusion of group play.
Ocean Township United SA Warriors Red (16U Boys) finished the opening round of competition as the number one seed in their group, recording two wins against a single defeat. On the docket for them on Monday morning is a 7:00 AM CT meeting in the semifinals with VVSC 2008 Boys Navy (CO).
Also advancing to the semifinal round of the National Presidents Cup is Deptford SA Premier (17U Boys), who registered three consecutive wins over the weekend to go undefeated in group play. Their nine points and 13-1 goal differential placed them well on top of their bracket, setting up the New Jersey side for an 7:00 AM CT encounter with Georgia Athletic Soccer Club B17U (GA) on Monday morning.
