National USSF C License Information - pdf

Part of the mission of New Jersey Youth Soccer is to provide coaching education to those involved in the game. To accomplish this mission, NJYS offers a complete coaching schools program.  You can also find material on line to help you become a better coach.

Coaching Schools Program:  The New Jersey Youth Soccer Coaching Schools program is designed to address the needs of the American youth player and coach.   The NJYS State "F" License, National "E", and National "D" License Courses are taught by the New Jersey Youth Soccer Coaching Schools Instructors.  Note: NJYS requires the National "E" License as a prerequisite for the National "D" License course.  NJYS will also host on an annual basis the 5 day National Youth License.

NJYS Coaching Schools also offers other informal clinics specially designed for the novice Recreational Level Coach in the form of the 3 hour "Y" Clinic, AND can also tailor informal 2-3 hour on field and/or in classroom specialty clinics to suit your needs.  For more information on the Licenses and clinics mentioned above contact the NJYS Director of Coaching.

US Soccer Federation National License Courses:  US Soccer conducts 9 day residential courses the National "C", and National "B" Licenses leading all the way to the National "A" License.  You can find a listing of the currently scheduled National courses at US Soccer's Coaching Education web site.  Note: When possible NJYS will attempt to host the National "C" License Course (see above).

Online Resources:  The Internet provides a wealth of coaching education resources.  The Soccer Coaches Mail List provides on going discussion of problems and techniques that the soccer coaches encounters every day.  For information about subscribing to this list, click here
